Human Rights. International and Russian Mechanisms of Protection.

The manual presents a general review of the international and Russian mechanisms of human rights protection. The UN treaty bodies, Council of Europe conventions, the work and order of reference to the European Courtof Human Rights as well as the human rights protection system of Russia are taken up. The forms of application to the international bodies and legal acts of Russia are included.

The book is intended for individuals as well as for human rights nongovernmental organizations. It may also be used in human rights education.
